Description
Travel back into the past with a visit to one of Tenerife’s leisure parks: the Pyramids of Güímar Ethnographic Park, a 64,000 m2 patch of paradise, which will take you back to ages past and help you understand what the world was like hundreds of years ago. Choose your visit option, and get ready for a penetrating insight into details you could never have imagined, such as the pyramids’ orientation towards the sun at key astronomical dates. If you’re in Tenerife to learn something about the world, the Pyramids of Güímar is a visit not to be missed.
“Pyramids and Much More" admission ticket
The most basic ticket will allow you to see the pyramids, museum, panoramic terrace, Sustainable Garden, and the auditorium. And there’s more! This massive park has four outdoor exploration trails: a botanic trail, an export trade trail, a cultural trail and a volcanic trail. Can you guess their topics? Follow all of them, and fully immerse yourself in the distinct character of the island of Tenerife!
“The Colonisation of Polynesia” or “Plants and Poisons” admission ticket
If what is offered by the “Pyramids and Much More” option is not enough, you have two further possibilities to round off an experience loaded with culture and with items of interest. You can hear about “The Colonisation of Polynesia”. Discover how mankind battled against all odds to colonise the Pacific, as well as the amazing story of how the Rapa Nui people came to Easter Island and made their home there. The other option, “Plants and Poisons”, gives you access to the so-called Poisonous Garden, a 1,500 m2 space where some of the most famous poisons and poisoners in history are brought together. If you would like to know more about them, don’t hesitate: come along to a place that will make your hair stand on end.
With a Premium admission ticket, you won’t miss a single thing
It is priceless. If you have the time, and you don’t want to miss a single attraction in this fascinating park and botanical garden located on the east coast of Tenerife, we can recommend the Premium ticket. This will give you access to absolutely everything, so that you can explore whatever takes your fancy for as long as you wish. Without question, this is the option chosen by the most seasoned explorers.
