Description

Tour La Gomera in a Safari Jeep, and explore from within the bridge that linked Columbus to the New World. The La Gomera whistle, Garajonay National Park, local traditions and a boat trip from Tenerife to this little island make for an adventure that will leave you with unforgettable memories of your Canary Islands holiday.

Arrive on the island by boat and admire the panoramic views of Tenerife

You will sail to La Gomera, departing from either Puerto de la Cruz or Playa de las Américas. During the crossing, you can admire the cliffs, coasts, natural scenery and delightful views of the island of Tenerife set in the waters of the Atlantic. And that’s just the start...

Jeep Safari on La Gomera: explore the island on board a 4x4 vehicle

Tour the native countryside and the villages of La Gomera on board a 4x4 vehicle driven by an experienced driver. During the stop-offs, you will be adding up the fascinating quirks of all the places you pass through. You will cross landscapes such as dreams are made of, and visit local villages. In one of these, you will visit a restaurant to eat traditional Canarian food. The finishing touch to your tour will be a visit to the jewel in the crown of La Gomera: Garajonay National Park.

Visit the Garajonay National Park

And discover the natural wonders secreted in this remarkable place. In addition to learning about the flora and fauna, you will find out all about “silbo gomero”, the La Gomera whistle used by the locals to communicate across the ravines, and awarded World Heritage status in 2009 as the only whistled language in the world. There will be a live demonstration of this whistle in the local restaurant where you stop off for a meal.
