Description

Join this walk from the mountains of Teno Alto to Punta de Teno, and you see all kinds of sights along the way. With astonishing views, a 5-hour walk through the countryside and the Teno Rural Park will make this adventure one of the highlights of your holiday. You will finish at Punta de Teno, the most western point of Tenerife, where you can take a dip in the waters of the Atlantic.

Point of departure: the hamlet of Teno Alto

Would you like to know about the traditions that make Tenerife such a unique island? In the hamlet of Teno Alto, you will see several demonstrations of local customs that have survived the passage of time to become an outstanding and remarkable feature of the native culture of Tenerife. And that’s only the start.

Visit a cheese-making dairy before you set off

Tenerife’s cheeses are yet another aspect of its local cuisine. On the one hand, there’s the renowned mojo sauce, which has crossed borders; the cheese, on the other hand, tastes wonderful, but is still one of Teno Alto’s best-kept secrets. Your visit to the dairy will enable you to see - and taste - the reasons why.

Excursion through the Teno Rural Park to Punta de Teno, in western Tenerife

Join the walk, and see everything with the eyes of a true explorer. The descent through the rural park will amaze you, especially when you realise the series of incomparable views waiting to be discovered along the way. At the end of the walk, you will find yourself on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, where you can take a dip to round off an excursion which will never be forgotten.

An unforgettable experience with great professionals

We have been in great company, our guide Cristian told us about the history of the island while our driver, Sebastian, took us to the most wonderful places. They are both great professionals and we are very grateful for all the knowledge and treatment we have received. Congratulations!

Amazing way to end a day from the top of a volcano

Seeing the sunset in a place near to the Teide's peak is one of the most amazing experiences you can live here. We had good luck because the visibility was incredible, so we saw more islands from the top, like La Gomera, La Palma and El Hierro. Im from Tenerife, this was the second time I booked for this experience. And I would do it again, and again. 100% recommended.
