The geology of a giant. Enjoy a unique, immersive experience with 3D glasses in our Dome. Impressive reproductions of the geological formation of Las Cañadas del Teide that you can almost touch.
We have recovered and restored the first cabin ever used by Teleférico del Teide. Visiting it, and seeing it travel up to the peak without leaving Santa Cruz, is a journey into the past.
Did you know that there is an old meteorological observation tower next to the AEMET facilities in Izaña? We have created a full-scale model of it so that you can visit it.
Climate change is a fact, and the Teide National Park is one of the finest natural laboratories in the world for its study. Studying Teide’s plant life gives us clues about climate change.
The sky above Mount Teide. One of the pillars of the Teidelab project is the monitoring and recording of fascinating meteorological phenomena that we can observe on Mount Teide.
Part of the programme will be held at the Espacio Cultural Cajacanarias in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, where scientific talks will be held on the 21st, 22nd and 23rd of October, with Spanish and international experts in geology, plant ecophysiology and climatology, with simultaneous translation into English provided.
