TEIDE LEGEND TOUR:
You can enjoy the TEIDE LEGEND TOUR at any time, and on any day of the year. However, please bear in mind that opening hours for the Exhibition and the Visitors’ Centre are from 9.00am until 3.00pm (3.30pm during Holy Week), and that they are closed to visitors on the Christmas Day public holiday.
MUNA:
Last entry to the museum is 30 minutes before closing time.
- Monday to Saturday: from 9.00am to 7.00pm.
- Sundays and public holidays: from 10.00am to 5.00pm.
- Closed: 24th, 25th and 31st December, 1st and 6th January and on Shrove Tuesday.
The MUNA is free to visit on Fridays and Saturdays from 4.00pm until closing time. If these days fall on a public holiday, the museum is free to visit from 2.00pm until it closes.
Restrictions
- Pets are not allowed at the Cable Car Visitors’ Centre.

- Visitors are prohibited from entering or remaining inside the MUNA under the following circumstances:
- Without shoes, with wet clothes or footwear, with their upper body uncovered and, in general terms, in clothes in noticeably bad condition, or lacking personal hygiene.
- With clothes or symbols that incite violence, racism or xenophobia under the terms stated in the Penal Code.
- Being under the effects of drugs or alcohol, or showing noticeable signs of disturbed behaviour, being provocative or inciting public disorder, or any other behaviour that prevents the museum from functioning normally.
- Animals are prohibited, except for guide dogs. Inflammable and toxic products are prohibited.
- Anyone who refuses to comply with any of the rules of entry and conduct will be prohibited from entering or remaining in the museum.

- It is necessary to produce the booking confirmation, either printed or displayed on a mobile device, in order to gain access to the “Science and Legend” exhibition and the MUNA.
- You may visit the MUNA on your booking date, or at a later date within 6 months.
- The MUNA has a free audio guide service in 6 languages (Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, and Russian) that can be used on visitors’ own mobile devices (smart phones and tablets).
Prepare for your visit
When you go on your visit to the Teide National Park, you need to be prepared for conditions of extreme heat or extreme cold, depending on the time of year and the time of day of your visit.
- Wear warm, comfortable clothing and proper footwear.
- Protect yourself against sunstroke. We recommend wearing a cap.
- Bring enough water with you to stay hydrated.
- We recommend wearing sunglasses to protect your sight because the sunlight is extremely bright until the sun goes down.
The Teide Cable Car Visitors’ Centre is located within a fragile and protected national park. Therefore we must follow a series of basic rules of civic behaviour and respect of the natural environment, such as not littering or taking rocks, plants or animals. Please remember that it is prohibited to make fire, make loud noises, stray from the signposted paths, feed the animals, or to camp.
